Gregory W. Garbe, P.E.

 

Mr. Garbe is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas and has worked professionally in the oilfield for 20 years. He has worked for TXO Production Corporation, FINA, Gillring Oil Company, Lomak Petroleum, Costilla Energy, Dan A. Hughes, and Suemaur Exploration in various engineering and management positions.

He has worked in South Louisiana, Texas Gulf Coast, and South Texas. He has experience both on land and inland waters.
He has had extensive experience in drilling HTHP wells to depths of 18,000+ feet and BHT’s to 400 F, including deep directional wells.

He has had extensive experience in completing HTHP wells, both conventional and monobore, with multiple frac stages.
He has a broad base of experience in facility design and installation, gas treating, gravel pack, corrosive environment conditions, gas lift, beam pumping, hostile environment casing design, horizontal drilling, workovers and recompletions.

He has utilized both OGRE and PHDWin reservoir software. Throughout his career, he has been an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Petroleum Institute.

Mr. Garbe graduated from Texas A&I University in 1985 with a B.S. in Natural Gas Engineering. He is married and has three children.
