Eldon S. West III, P.G.

Mr. West has been an active Geologist in the oil and gas industry for 27 years.  The majority of his work has been on projects along the Texas Gulf Coast. He has also worked South Louisiana, East Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, the DJ Basin, Rocky Mountains, and Williston Basin.

He has been employed with Exxon, Donald C. Slawson, Amerada Hess, Plains Resources, TXO Production Corp., and LASMO in various geologic and management positions.
He has also worked as an independent petroleum geologist, providing consulting services as well as prospect generation, marketing, and management of multi-well projects for industry participants.

His most recent discovery, completed in 2003, was a 14,000’ well in Orange County, Texas which had an IP of 2 ½ MMCFD and 540 BOPD.

Mr. West holds a B.S. & M.S. in Geology from Wichita State University. He is also an active member in various industry organizations including A.A.P.G., S.I.P.E.S., C.C.G.S., H.G.S.. He is recognized by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists as a Certified Petroleum Geologist.
